i'm looking to spruce up my machine sewing skills, so i was wondering if anyone knew of any classes around here...i thought i had it made when i heard of one at a vo tech by me, but it was something where you bring in a pattern and the teacher helps you make it, but no extra general information.  any help or direction would be great, thanks!

Depends on where in Central NJ you are. Howell is in Central NJ and there is a Stich N Sew in LAkewood that does a lot, and Joann Fabric store in Brick has some.
