I just finished my first personal swap with Heroinchic. FUN FUN!

She rocks. I knit her a nautaloid and she made me the best how to embroider kit Ever. Personal swaps are great.

Here's the kit:

the most awesome and comprehensive how to book with great designs (including some aunt martha's)
and a darn cute needle case:



I can't wait to learn to embroider!

And as a special rockin' bonus she had seen that I had a ring from Tigerlilly's etsy shop on my wist and sent me one. WOW! It fits, its beautiful, and I get tons of compliments. It's like she knew it was my birthday and exactly what I wanted.

what is that ring made of?  it's beautiful!

The ring is great -- I think it's made of shrinky dink stuff. It's deffinately plastic with drawing on it.

I can't wait to start embroidering!! Good thing I took the whole week off from work next week and I plan on crafting everyday!

my nautie is the most beautiful in the world.  he is navy and green, and a lovely oatmeal color.

Fruitsalads are great - when I was little you could only get them as tiny sweets that cost 1p each! Now you can get a whole bar of loveliness!!

I received a fab package all the way from piratecore in the states (I love getting packages - it is sooooo exciting!!!)

Im glad it arrived safely!! and so happy captain jack ducky has a new home, and name!:)
The bag is from this race they have every year here in Boulder, Colorado called the Bolder BOULDER (get it?) thought it would be a nice local touch.
