Let me say I had a really good time with this challenge!

I thought about who I admire, and I admire Moms everywhere.  I'm lucky enough to be the mommy of a beautiful little boy, but it's not always easy.  So here's a monkey to honor all of those who begin the Great Adventure that is Motherhood.

Momkey from the Front:

Momkey in her Denim Halter Overalls.  All pregnant women, socks monkeys or not, need really comfy overalls!

Momkey up close.

This is my first sock monkey, and I think it turned out really well!  I'm already enjoying the other entries - I can't wait to see them all!

This sock monkey thing is addicting!  I already made another one for my son, which he calls it his "Sock-er Monkey" for some reason.  I think he got his name mixed in because it was "Hunter Sock Monkey."  He picked out his socks and they have rainbow on the ears.  It's gone everywhere with him since I gave it to him.  Now I'm making one for my nephew.  Today is his first birthday.  I found white socks with green toes and heels that I'm making it from.  I think everyone is getting a sock monkey for Christmas this year!

And I have to say, these sock monkeys are so inspiring!  I was showing my husband the different entries and he was so amazed  Then he told me I was screwed.  Which is true.  You guys are just so amazing!  I had so much fun making the monkey, though, I'm so glad I did.  Yay sock monkeys!
