I'm going to be honest and say that the yarn by itself does NOTHING for me, if I were shopping for yarn I would've dismissed that instantly.  HOWEVER, made into your poncho, it looks great!  Well done Cheesy

***ETA***
I just saw the pattern for this in the KAL section - I really don't like the original poncho either.  This has taught me two things:
a) I'm disgustingly fussy, and
b) It's AMAZING how you've made such a gorgeous poncho from two things I would never have looked twice at.  I'm doubly impressed!

I wasn't sure about the yarn when I bought it but I am a yarnaholic and for a $1 I just couldnt pass it up an green is my favorite color when I first saw the poncho pattern I wasn't sure about it but with my yarn I liked it. I don't think I would have liked the pattern with any other yarn....
