hey! well i was wondering how about a hair pin swap! like we can put buttons and flowers and other little stuff on bobbypins and swap them. of course one wouldn't be enough so we could make atleast 2 or 3 and send out to 2 or 3 differant people. what do you guys think?

i cannot find the bobbypins ANYWHERE around here that have the flat side to glue things to - any recommendations on where to buy those?

sorry i don't know where to find them but you can usually put it on a regular bobbypin with some really strong glue. it should hold up pretty well. some places just have it in stock but i don't have any here. sorry!

I haven't seen those, but I do something like what elmonerd does with her barrettes...Are you familiar with craft foam?  You can buy it in sheets from basic craft stores, usually in bright colors.  I cut small circles out of it, poke two holes in it with a sharp needle, then slide it onto the bobby pin.  I can post some pictures if you want to see how I do it, maybe later today if I get the chance.
