I have a friend - Sarah - and she likes sock monkeys. This is her
.

I thought she would enjoy being imortalized in Monkeydom. I went non traditional and made her out of sock monkey "print" fabric. I have a sock monkey phobia and wasn't sure I could handle the tactile adventure of the sock fabric. Here's the finished idol

Hope I did this all right Wink

Actually I did give it to her and she flipped out - in a good way! It is the BEST feeling when people really love the stuff you make for them. I know its hard to see in the pic but I embroidered some safety pins onto the the shirt and skirt - its a Sarah thing.
