Hello fellow crafsters I'm a first time poster, long time visitor to this site.  Due to unemployment I was inspired to pick up the needle and get involved with this crafty challenge. I present to you my living healthy hero Richard Simian the Richard Simmons inspired sock monkey.... 



I used the Richard Simmons 80's Blast-off DVD as a reference point


Here is a close up of his face:


And one of his chest and beaded outfit:


And to balance it out, a photo of his back:


I have had so much fun making my monkey.  Everyone on this board is so talented and you all inspire me to live a more crafty life.
