A plain but ambitious girl. . .

Yes, I made a Hermione sock monkey! I love her and she definitely kicks butt!



I "invented" patterns for all her clothes but she has theHogwarts uniform shirt,  black pleated skirt, red and gold tie, and black Mary Janes (painted on.) Her wand is made from a characteristically crooked twig. Her robes even have the Gryffindor symbol on it . . .



I was going to paint it on, but I couldn't do anything that tiny, so I printed it and glued it on. I didn't have fabric for the tie, so I twisted red and yellow yarn together. It works.  I had to draw her eyes on as I couldn't find any good brown buttons, but she still looks okey-dokey! Shortcuts rock.
Anyway, she could have been better but I'm happy with her and I'm going to give her to Jeremy(my youth minister). He'll love her. Thanks for looking and remember:
