hi!  i only recently joined craftster, so this is my first try at making a new thread.  i hope i'm doing everything right... *crosses fingers*

anyway...  Wink i pulled out my sculpey that had been sitting in my closet for awhile (since all the amazingness here was inspiring me) and i made these little stitch markers for when i start knitting again.  i think the gloss made it hard to see any detail, but hope you like 'em!

apples!

berries!

no theme 'cause i got bored!

oh, and they are on a size 3 needle...

Those are really great! Especially the apples! What did you use to glaze them?

hey thanks!   Smiley

i used the sculpey brand 'gloss' glaze.  i remember they also had a 'satin' glaze too, although i don't know what the difference is.  i tried to water it down a little, because it can go on really thick.

stitch markers mark a place in your knitting (like a pattern change) or can help you to remember to count rows when knitting in a circle.  they go on the knitting needle and you can just move them over to the new needle when you get to it (the stitch marker that is).

I think the gloss you chose was a great choice! The satin one would not have been as shiny. That sculpey glaze really is thick isn't it?

You did such a great job! These are so inspiring, I may have to go out and pick up some, although I haven't played around with sculpey in a long time! LOL  Grin
