So I made this bag using stargirl's awesome tut http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=49706.0 and  decided I needed a planner to match 
  If I had to do it again I would reinforce the handles with cardboard or something as they are a little too floppy for my liking. Also I would be more careful about the measurement as the lining ended up a tad smaller than the shell so it was a b*tch to sew in. Overall though I am quite pleased with it. What do you think?

i like it! and the planner is cute as well.

maybe for future reference you can use those paint stirring sticks they give you at home depot to reinforce the handles. just a thought never actually tried it

I love the fabrics that you used.  They coordinate wonderfully.  The big flower print is gorgeous! Well done!

i love the colors of the fabric
so cool i have wondered if those kind of handles would need reinforcement but it wouldnt be that hard to put some in hmm ??  anyway very nice purse  Grin
