i just thought i would show off my newly decorated table top. i didnt know exactly where to post it so this is where it ended up.. <3

it was quite simple to do actually...
+ plain blue target table sitting in my room
+ bought some mod podge glossy
+ trip to wal-mart and picked up those free paint swatches
+ cut them in half
+ applied them to my table top
+ last trimmed around the edges with just plain ole scissors.

That is CUTE!

I've got the same table in my living room Smiley

I've been wanting to do the same for a while now, maybe not that table though, it goes pretty as is, but maybe my nightstand, which is pretty bland...

Your panda bear is really sweet too!

I made something like that a while ago, except it was on a stool. I gave it to a friend as a birthday present...I was proud of it!

That looks fab! We did the same thing wth our kitchen bench a while ago. But whatever you do, don't use a decoupage technique unless you test the paint chips first. The paint chips that we used had some kind of plastic film on them and they all bubbled up and refused to stick properly. Erghghgh. We ended up pulling it all off and using origami paper squares instead. Luckily they look great!

Ooh! I've saved those for random reasons when I was younger, and I love the look of the different swatches on the round table, very modern Smiley
