Any one up to joing me in a crochet along doing the JLO Poncho

J'Los poncho

One Size fits most
Yarn Odd balls of Mohair (I Used different yarn besides mohair)
Crochet hook Q

Chain 58
Row 1: DC in 4th chain from hook and in each chair across,
chain 3,turn

Measure it at this stage to make sure its no longer than 50 inches


Row 2: DC In next and each DC across
Chain 3,turn

Rows 3-10: Repeat row 2

*NOTE: Change colors at the beginning of a row,weaving ends in later into the same color row

Finishing: Fold in half , join short side to edge of the opposite long sind with slip stitch,Try it on,if its too big on your shoulders,you can either  add  slip stitch along the top or pull out the slip stitches and add a few more rows to the length

Bind off,weave in ends


Fringe: Cute strips of all colors of mohair 16 inches long .Seperate into groups of 3(Or more if ya like) One of each color.Fold segments in half and draw loop through between DCS at bottom edges.Then Draw the ends through the loop and pull.Repeat at regular intervals

I would like to check this out, but I am unable to open the link.  The loads blank.  If you purchased this maybe you're the only one who can see it.  If not, then I don't know.

it's because it's a pdf file. if you have adobe reader you need to open that and then click on the link. You should be able to veiw it then

Didn't get the link to open.  Once again the page loaded blank.  Also a prompt came up that told me "the file is damaged and could not be repaired".  Maybe I need to upgrade adobe?

the yarn is nobo by no boundries the label doesnt say much else except that it is marketed by walmart
the color was called josephine 10.....I got lucky an got it for a $1 a couple weeks ago because they are not gonna carry it anymore

I just gave my poncho to my cousin last night she said she would wear it and I know I wouldnt so there got some good use out of it....I might make another to donate for christmas gifts hopefully it will make some young teen happy....

I found some yarn in my LYS's bargain bin
(discontinued ribbon yarn in a gorgeous terracotta red)
and I've worked up a swatch with it.
So far so good.
