i love your paintings!  i'm a sucker for nekkid lady paintings/drawings (i have lots on my site too), but i'm SO intrigued by the textures you got on the portrait of your hubby!  it's so gestural yet well defined.  you rock!  wonderful work!  keep posting!

Kiss hehehe! thanks guys, it's SOOOOOOO nice to have so many compliments!  Cheesy (the photo of the girlie with her boobs out is a really bad one...i had to take a pic with the flash on, and it kinda glared off of the hair  Undecided ah well, u get the idea anyways)
i've been playing around with stencils lately, and i did a painting last night, well, a stencil/painting thing, and i'm so proud of it... gonna stick it on e-bay, see what happens (if i can get the goddamn paypal thing to work!) kinda wanna keep it, but i need cash. I'm a bit too sentimental when it comes to my work sometimes!
lemme know what u all think!

I just wanted to say how much I love your work!!! (my favorite author states that persons who uses more than two exclamation marks are mentally unstable, but anyway...) I have also been checking out all the great paintings presented in your Livejournal.

Although I attended an arts class for three years, I must admit I never really got the hang of it. But now I will be moving in with my boyfriend before next summer and I want to make some creative portraits of us. I think it will be a collage of some kind, as that's the works I have been most successful about in the past.

Well, your work is just great!! I think you will be really successful if you try selling some of it.

HOLY TALENTED!!!
(I guess my use of multiple exclamation points signifies mental instability... Yeah, I can live with that)
 Incredible work. Really.
I do have one question-- Eyeshadow? For the luminescent quality? I am intrigued.

The Twiggy one gets my top vote!  Too cool!  Makes a point, and does so succinctly. The first two are wonderful as well, but I think "Twiggy" would make Andy Warhol grin! Keep up with the good stuff.

Yeah, i bought some Barry M eyeshadow that was REALLY shiney, and as i was painting the green background bits, i went "ooooh" now that'd be good" and just rubbed some on, over some of the green bits, with my fingertips.
It looks nice, has a kind of sheen to certain parts of it.

those are freaking gorgeous, I especially like the portrait of your husband, that's aweosome, I've never tried painting portraits, i'm too scared, i always draw them, and paint easy things haha. You've inspired me though. It seems like it might be especially hard to paint in black and white, is it? or is it just about the same as drawing in black and white?

I definitely think that you will have no problem selling that gorgeous Twiggy!  If I wasn't lethally broke, I would SO buy that!  Just because I'm curious, what were you going to start it at?  Maybe I can suck someone into buying it for me. . . time to collect what I'm owed. . .

i copied it from a photo which was slighty blurred, so it was easy to see the blotches of colours as individual things rather than as a whole picture. Making ur eyes go fuzzy by squinting works kinda too......good luck, and thank you for the post  Smiley
