I am not ambitious enough to sift through 100 pages to find them!  I'm sure they were beautiful!

Hi everybody!!!
I finally made it, i read all of the pages of this thread, all of them. I started reading from yesterday night(i paused to sleep) and continued this afternoon Smiley.
I am definetly going to make this dress, i just dont have enough stretchy fabric, but tomorrow i am going to get 4 yards of it to make this dress. It's the best dress ever!!! Rostichery you rock.
When i am done i'll post the pictures of it.

Somebody has probably already asked or done this, but I'm a scrap sewer, I just sew from material I find around the house. Would it be okay if I made some of these dresses for a barbie doll and gave them out as party favours a a kiddie party?

What a fun idea!!  I think that sounds great.   Grin  Those would be some really tiny dresses, tho... please post pics when you're done!  I'd love to see how this works out.

At first when I saw this fabric in the $1.50/meter bin at walmart, I thought of Shleybee's cowl neck dress, which I sadly failed at (wrong body type...)

So I decided to attempt this dress.  So I went back to Walmart after doing some super awesome calculations, I even drew out mini sketches of the pieces!!  Anyhow, this is what I ended up with.
my dress! (although sloppily tied...) The fabric is 2 way stretch, that is lighter and less shiny than swimsuit material.

ps.  like my attempt at blue hair?  it turned out green...

Everyone's dresses look fab!  I love how everyone has taken the idea and made it to fit them....Smiley  I found some pretty black fabric that has amazing drape to it and I am going to make another one...I just need to get to work on it!
