Made one! Woohoo! Made from a hot pink (I know it kind of looks red in the pics) poly knit that had lotss of stretch. First, thank you tons and tons for introducing the pattern. I loved messing with the straps, but the only problem is, I can never how I did a particular style, which is sad. But, on a brighter note, each trial brings something even more awesome. Sometimes. Hopefully. In the future. As well...

Anyway, pictures for your pleasure:

Wow that looks so elegant in that style. I have yet to make one for me! You should take a step by step pic of what you are doing. I wish I could see how you wrapped it this way. I think it is my favorite way!!!!

I made myself a convertible dress about six months ago. Loved it... but never wore it, since I have varicose veins and am terribly embarrassed about wearing dresses. (Wish I could figure out a way to, though.)

So, I took off some length, and voila! A wearable top!

Here's another wrap style meant to save me some pain from my stinging sunburn (ouchie!)

Embarrassed Pardon the messy bedroom! I honestly hadn't noticed that the pics were taken at such an inopportune time. I really do make my bed, I swear.  Tongue

Cute! It's very flattering and I love that you can style it different ways.

Have you tried wearing leggings?  Like, the kind that end just below the knee?  Those would hide any things you may want to hide. Smiley  They're also super comfy.

Lots and Lots of pics.. Beware.

There are still several ways to tie it that I've not figured out... Hehe a few of you definatley have me beat!

I too messed up my circle skirt.. So I pieced four wide rectangles together, And it looks fine.. Although I really love the full circle skirt, And will probably be making another soon.

What do you guys think?

miss cherry it looks awesome!

I'm on a 30 day diet.
So far I have managed to lose 15 days.

I've also been following this thread forever and it was definitley one of the reason I finally joined craftster. I finally got to joann's and bought some purple stretch fabric on sale for like $2.50 a yard to make this dress. Well I didn't have enough for a long enough circle skirt, and then after adjusting and creating a different skirt my sewing machine freaked on me. I'm pretty sure the timings off and idk how to fix it right now. Anyways, i ended up handsewing the waist band and everything basically, so that was less than fun, but TOTALLY worth it. I love this dress!!!

Here's pics of me wearing it. I'll mostly be wearing cami's and tanks under it, i like the look but I'm also rather "well endowed" and need a bra. One day I'll make a boob tube though.

the front

of course wearing it with matching flip-flops.

the back

fun shot!

I also love everyone else's creativity with this dress, and basically can't wait to make another one!!
