Thanks!  I got the fabric at Jo-Ann.  It was a lot more than I wanted to spend, but I fell in love with it and nothing else would do - you know how that goes!  Anyhow, it was $12.99 a yard, but I used my 40% off cupon and that helped.  I did mess up on a cut and went back for more for the skirt and used a yard and a half instead of a yard so it would be a bit longer.  Still so proud of myself!   Cheesy Grin Roll Eyes

Shelby... I've seen that fabric in so many colors...and I'm DYING to try it, but the price tag is just too steep!

I know, it was really expensive, but the dress has to be blue (hard to be the 'Devil With a Blue Dress' without a blue dress) and there was no other fabric that was in the right blue family that would work - especially when I fell in love with that fabric.  I know I'll wear it again, though!  I bought 2 pari of blue leggings for $8 at Wal-Mart that match perfectly (I'm wearing them in the pic) and am using one for a shrug and wearing the other.  How they turned out the EXAXCT shade, I'll never know!

The other dress I made is a grey-ish blue and it was only $2 a yard at Wal-Mart.  Every WallyWorld I go to I check the $1 bin, but I never find any that will work for this dress!  Oh, well $2 isn't bad...at least they always have something that will work for my handbags and I can make 3-5 bags per yard, so that works.......can't wait to post pics I take of the dress in full costume!   Cool Grin Wink
