ha!- i just made mine the other day (i don't have any pictures yet)- and the first time i wore it was to the midnight showing of pirates-
any way- i love the fabric you used eenodol-
i like looking how other people tie thier's it gives me ideas  Smiley

thanks, i like it too!  it's even prettier close up.. the only problem it that the patterns only on one side, but even that's not too big of a problem, it just takes a second more to tie it on

hehe.. if only all ten gazillion people who made this dress (and look great in it.. because everyone does!)  had worn their's to the midnight of Pirates as well..  maybe they did  Cheesy  ::wishes she looked around the theater a little more::   Grin

Lots and Lots of pics.. Beware.

There are still several ways to tie it that I've not figured out... Hehe a few of you definatley have me beat!

I too messed up my circle skirt.. So I pieced four wide rectangles together, And it looks fine.. Although I really love the full circle skirt, And will probably be making another soon.

What do you guys think?

Woah, i LOVE the fabric you chose eenoldol! It's beautiful. Cheesy
but I'm also liking MissCherry's black one!
and now i want to make one like shleybee's shirt one, uber-stylish.

Aaaaa I want more fabric to make a million of these with! There's so many options.

Yay I'm going to get some stretchy stuff today!
One question though: How high up on your (anyone's) torso is the waistband? In some pictures it looks like people have it below the waist like most circle skirts so it is not covered by the straps but in others it looks like some people have the waistband on or above their waist so it is hidden.

This could just have to do with which wrapping style is used, but rostitchery mentioned something about using her underbust measurement in one of the first few pages and it made me wonder about it. Sorry for the boring text-only post, everyone's pictures are beautiful!

you can put the waist where ever you want!- depending on how i feel, sometimes i wear mine at my waist, sometime i wear it with an empire waist- if the fabric is stretchy (i don't know about none-stretchy fabric) it doesn't really matter- just try not to make the waist of the skirt over sized (like what i did at first) and you'll probably be fine- good luck!

you put the waist wherever you need it according to the way you want to wrap it.

i used my hip radius instead of my underbust or waist because i used the wrong mark on my circle-drawing tape measure.

MissCherry - The way you're wearing it in the last picture is definitely one of my favourite ways to wear it Smiley (although I think the way I had it tied slightly differently in the back)  . Yay!

Everyone's looks great!!
