I made this set the other day, and wanted to share. i've already posted somewhere around here, how to do the earrings, so i'll just tell you about the necklace....i actually have a ton of bottle caps (beer, and vintage soda caps) and never know what to do besides earrings, well, i woke up one day w/ this necklace idea....i just hammered nail holes into the sides of the cap, and then used it as any old bead. The rest is glass beads on hemp.

does the bottle cap not poke your neck?  whenever i use bottle caps they poke me unless i file them.  it looks great.

yay! im not the only one who has thought of earrings out of bottle caps. actually, it was my friend who told me about it and made me like, three pairs before i finally asked her to teach me.

WOW! They're really nice, but I have the same question as girlypirate: Doesn't the bottle cap stick in your neck? I make tons of hemp stuff all the time... the necklace and the earrings both rock. GJ!
