Hiya,

I'd like to try and make an all hand-sewn stuffed character, but I've never done it and not too familiar with what stitch to use.  I'm not even very familiar with stitches at all ... so I need some help in learning them and then how to apply that to sew up felt toys.

I've seen some that you guys do and the seam is SO neat, wow .. hope I can learn to do that!

Anybody here care to share .. and help me out?

Thanks,
Dee

I'm sorry to say a lot of it is practice.

the stitch I mostly use to sew critter parts together is called a ladder stitch.

the main sewing is a running stitch to sew pieces of fabric together, for felt a blanket stitch is sometimes good.
