So, I'm a little late about this. Oh well.

I made two pencil pouches from this tutorial http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=63644.0.
The first one:

This one didn't turn out so well. As you see, I made it a little to tall. Not quite a pencil pouch.

The second one:

Definitely proud of this one. :-)
Bad pics because I was racing against dead batteries.

I saw this: http://store.fueledbyramen.com/albumview.asp?idproduct=27967 on the Fueled by Ramen web site and was like "I really want one!" but than I found out that it would cost about $6 with shipping (!!!) for one folder.
Than I remembered this craftalong! And thought "I can make my own folder!"
So I did. Here are some pictures of the Cute is What we Aim for folder:::::

I covered the pictures in clear tape as a lamination, then I taped them on the folder and sewed them on. This one was done with the blanket stitch (as you can see better here, kinda dark...):

And the inside of it. I covered the stitches with tape to re-enforce them:

I also made one of my favorite local band from Cincinnati, Ellison!! (www.ellisonsite.com you should check them out)

and a detail of the stitches on this one::::

I didn't do the blanket stitch on this one it hurt my fingers too much and took forever.
Sorry for all the pictures....
I am also making some patches for my new back-pack. I'll post them if I ever get them done.

Well, first off thank you very much! They are my favorite!
And second, I hand stitched mine. You could prolly use a sewing machine.... I think it would be much easier really. Sewing it by hand hurt kinda (especially on the cute is what we aim for one....). Cause you know going through the cardstock of the folder, then through two layers of packing tape and the paper of the pictures is hard on your thumbs! Ouch Undecided

I'm waking up again and see that war on screen again
And it makes me want to go and hide
This world is full of misery, the anger is too big to see
That's why I had to dream this dream

YAY! After an exhausting crafting day yesterday I got a binder done and decorated and made tons of shaving cream cards along with covers for my Hilroy notebooks. Pics below. I just finished an Archie Comics collage/comic strip binder, but my mom still has to put the adhesive film on it. Any other ideas for my last two binders???
