3 Simple, Misc. Melted Bead Projects <IMG heavy>

Here are a few random things I did last week...
I used plastic, faceted beads, such as these for all of them, an oven temp of 375 and varying baking durations.

A little tin with a colorful stained glass effect.  Doesn't get much easier than this!   
I used the lid as the mold.

A new spoon rest...   Pretty exciting, huh?  It's silly, but I thought I'd share anyway. 
I used an actual spoon rest as the mold.

A suncatcher of a tree... 
I used a round cake pan lined with foil as the mold.

I love the stained glass effect top of the box. I have a mass amounts of those tiny boxes with clear lids, maybe this might give me the kick in the pants I need to try the melted bead craze.

By the way, hows that "Scream" coming along?

*scream*  Ya know, I haven't even started a Scream one yet!  I thought about it, then I went through bead colors & didn't want to use all the brown/gold sparkle beads I have now, for the bridge.  I'm hunting for some bead deals... 'cause I need more colors.

Ok do i live in the worlds most un crafty place in the world ,, but iam sorry ive never seen those tins anywhere> where the heck did you find them? do they have glass ? plastic? over the lid?

How has the spoon rest held up? I know the top of my stove heats up especially if the oven is on, and I'd be worried about the spoon rest melting.

i really want to get back into melting beads but the fumes are too much for all of us.

Plus, when my family cooks things, the fumes still linger.  I'm going to have to hold off on this project for a while. Drat!

But, I can keep my love of melting beads alive with seeing all the neat things you're coming up with!
