does it ever set the smoke alarm off?? How do you get the smell out of the house?

It never has.  It's not visible smoke, but it IS chemical fumes.  I just turn the turbo vent on our microwave hood on (it's above the oven/stove), open the backdoor (in the kitchen) and nearby windows.

The smell never makes it upstairs and it doesn't linger long at all.

No spray.  I think spray would probably make the beads turn funky colors with the heat or something.  I've never been brave enough to try it. Cheesy

I just laid the beads out in an image on the foil, baked, let cool & peeled it off.
