We could do it like the wishlist swap/pick you partner? People can "claim" someone and what they want something made out of on their list? We could at least claim 2-3 different people?
But then again, stuff wouldn't be crossed off until all supplies are gone? I'm just thinking there has got to be an easier way than you having to sort through everyones things and pair 2 or 3 of us together as partners.

I guess it depends on how many people sign up too.

Yeah, that could work. My first reaction was "Nooo I'm not that organized!" but honestly, I sit playing on the computer for at least four hours every workday so I could do it with time. We do have a long signup period, so maybe I'll change the way it works after we have ten people or so. Whew! I'd just hate to do this and not use up a good chunk of stuff!

Her dirty paws and furry coat,
She ran down the forest slope.
The forest of talking trees,
They used to sing about the birds and the bees.
The bees had declared a war,
The sky wasn't big enough for them all.

Dear lord, Modus Operandi, reading your list makes me feel somewhat inadequate; you have many strings to your bow! Smiley

Explains what it is:

Pictures of it

It came about in the early 90's, or that's when I started crafting with it. It got real popular at craft shows for a long time and then all of a sudden no one used it anymore. I still love making stuff with it though.

ah yes, it looks familiar.

oh, i just had an idea for how the swap could work. maybe it could be like the 'ongoing stuff i can make swap'? you list what you can make from your stash and the next person chooses somethind and then posts their list. but then it's kind of exactly the same.
i like the one or 2 partner style too.

I think the Ongoing swap style would work really well. How would we determine when it would end? When everyone has been picked twice? Or when things have been used up? I wouldn't want it to drag out indefinitely and die slowly.

This is onfusing me so i will just start crafting with all of my materials and post what I have made. one problem is that if two people ask for the same thing ill have to buy more materials since i usually only make a one of a kind proyect

I'll play along with whatever is decided.

But I have to admit, I prefer just being matched up with someone and crafting based on the questions we were asked to answer when signing up and contacting the partner with any other questions if necessary.  I think there's more of a surprise element involved that way, rather than someone saying "I can make this" and someone else claiming by saying, "I want that" and then they pretty much know what to expect.
