How is everyone doing on their projects and gathering of patterns? We already have 3 people who have sent! Smiley

I thought the flash drive idea was great, but I can't find one on the cheap.

I looked at Office Depot and CompUSA and they didn't have anything for less than 20 bucks.  Where should I look next for a less expensive one?

I'm making good progress... Haven't sent yet obviously, but my crafting is coming along nicely.

I finished my stitching today and am waiting for something in the mail now, but I don't want to give it away. Smiley

This is the original thread suggesting the swap where someone mentioned flashdrives: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=93412.0    I spotted some links there so maybe it could be helpful.

I think that I saw a 128 MB flashdrive somewhere for $10 once--maybe at Meijer in Michigan. I'm sure it had less memory than the $20 one you saw but you wouldn't need much for patterns anyway. I would try somewhere like Walmart, Target, or maybe even CVS or Walgreens because they sometimes have cheap technological equipment. Geeks.com also has a similar deal. Computer stores probably only have the tons- of- memory- pricey ones.

My embroidery is done. I just need to pull together the patterns I'm sending.

I was the one who suggested using flash drives (of course, now I've decided to go a different route). I have usually been able to find them for under $10 at Frys, if you have one in your area.

I should definitely get my package sent out by the end of the week.

I think I might go with CD's instead.  Walmart and Target were both a no go.

I hope you like what I'm making GatsbyGirl.  Like my life and everything contained within, it's a bit of an experiment...

Exactly one week until send outs and I have no worries. Some people have already sent and every one else is communicating so well that I think we are right on track. Do let me know if you need some extra time though. Happy embroidering!

O.K.--yesterday was send-out. I think that everyone has either sent out, or let me know that you will be sending out in a few days. Looking forward to seeing more pics in the gallery!
