I made this card for one of my best friends who just moved away.  It's a cellulose transfer of a Craphound image.  It didn't turn out as well as I had hoped, but I did it quite last minute.

Sorry about the pic. quality!

Opinions are greatly appreciated!!!

Cellulose transfer is actually a very cool process that involves transferring photocopied images into other pieces of paper.  It works well with layered paper because it allows you to place the image in the exact place you want it.  It also works well if you have a good print image (like from Craphound) that you can't print off of your computer for projects.

I also used the same process on this purse with another Craphound image:

It worked well for making a light transfer of the image, which I went over with a black Sharpie.  (You don't need to go over the image when it is on paper, because it shows up clearly.)

You need a photocopied, mirror image picture.  Usually something all black is best.  Then use coat the back of it with lacquer thinner, using a Q-Tip.  Then you place it over the paper of fabric you want to transfer it onto.  Finally, you use the bottom of a spoon to press the image onto the paper by sliding the spoon firmly over it.

It's a great process!  Let me know if you try it out!

It's a super easy, and even better, super cheap, process.  I'll borrow a camera, and try to put a tutorial up soon!  Thanks for everyones input.
