I see that lots of you use Cardstock for stencils. Since I have none of that, I was wondering if I could use old greeting cards, as they are pretty thick. Anyone see a flaw in my logic? I think it could work pretty well, in a pinch.. Although I have yet to stencil anything.

well, cardstock is often used to make cards, so old greeting cards, as long as they aren't bumpy, should work.

I've found that cardstock is pretty hard/annoying to cut through with an x-acto knife. Since I've tried this, I switched to freezer paper, which I like much better.
