Thank you all! The wedding was Saturday and the afghan was given and adored. Although my new nephew, who is quite large, said that he thought his tree should have been wider. I pointed out that my niece looks stunning in black so early widowhood was an option. He backed up pretty quick. Both physically and metaphorically.

The wedding was lovely; I got everything I'd agreed to do for the preparations done; my houseguests for the weekend have left -- and i just realized that one of the kid sweaters I'm knitting for our family reunion auction-- in 2 weeks-- isn't finished. So, the only thing to do is... put my feet up and have a drink.
