Needing a dress for Hollywood Jenga, I was inspired by the cherry fabric/polka dotted collar and sleeves on this shapeless, shoulder-padded wonder I found at Goodwill.



Some red fabric scraps I found for $1 spruced it up, along with some extra shaping and sleeve-puffifying...





And here's the action shot, taken at the event itself:

YEAH! AWESOME JOB! I'm obessed with the popular 1940's outfits. Yours looks similar to my black rouland Mouret one. Same poofy top sleeves, mine has more of a pencil skirt to it. I like how you made it your own. Somthing dear old Besty Johnson would be proud of.
