I love the colors you chose.  The banner is my favorite part - floresita, you have cute handwriting  Smiley

I read your manifestos and strange religious tracts.  You took me to your library and kissed me in the stacks.

Floresita,
It's gorgeous! I love the "dicho" (saying) - my mom "collects" them and knows so many! And the colors rock and are so cool and "folklorico". I like that you used 6-strands and made the outlines stand out.

And don't tell me you freehanded the letters. I'll die.

Awww... I love "dichos" too!  Me and my good friend tell each other funny ones all the time - I prefer the ones that make very little sense when you translate them into English... like my mom loves to say "Despues de atole" (and that makes zero sense in English)  Cheesy  I'm glad you like the colors - I basically used whatever was in the Stich-It Kit, with a few additions...

By "freehand" are you asking did I draw the letters?  NO, they're transfers from the stitch-it kit - it's just a split stitch using all 6 strands of floss.  For me, the trick to making split stitch work on letters is to keep your stitches extra close together.

Thanks so much everybody, for your compliments!  Grin
