Yes, you can!  You could just add their pay now buttons...

A free shopping cart that you can use along with paypal that I've found is: mals-e.com .  You could use that, and link to it from your blog.  It's extremely easy to use...if you have any questions about it, just let me know Smiley

I checked the links for your buttons.
Work:
Goldtone Swallow and Nautical Star Necklace
Pink and White Guns with Silvertone Stars
Scotty Dog Kilt Pin
Skull Charm Kilt Pin (but I don't think it captures the color)
Asian Take-Out Charm Kilt Pin

Don't work:
Pink And Black Gun Necklace

So whatever you did - you did it right for most of them  Grin You may think that nothing is happening because it takes a few seconds for the browser to process the request.

In my opinion though you should shell out the money and get a website. It is much more professional and can be quite cheap - $10 for domain (per year) and $10 for hosting (per month). Most website systems will provide a blog for you (or just link to the one you have). That way you can have a shopping cart along with many other features and there will be no delay or confusion in purchasing Grin.

But, if you want to stick with what you have you're on the right track Wink.

I'm totally in love with your fish skeleton earrings! I have fish skeletons tattooed on my side. If those are available I really think I might need them. PM me, let me know.

anyways. I'm really new to the selling thing. I've been on etsy for almost a month and love it. I bought a webhosting plan though dot5hosting. It is only $60 for a year including the domain. I think it more expensive if you go by the month. Anyways for the most part I'm happy with it. I don't know how much you know about web design but I know nothing. I don't the html thing unless it is cut and paste (like myspace free layouts). dot5hosting has templates which are pretty straight forward though their options are the best. The have shopping carts you can download. I installed it and pretty much don't know what to do with it. I chose them because the price was good and they offer alot of space and bandwith (which i don't fully understand but i figured i wanted alot of it) I figured I'll play around with it until i figure it out. this is the only website experience i have so i don't have anything to compare it to. I've also heard good things about go daddy web hosting.

I would get hosting at shieldhost.com, which goes from $4/month.

I would also suggest getting a domain name from godaddy.com, for as little as $8/year

Both have worked well for me, and I reccomend them to my clients Smiley

I have noticed that some people have been able to sell items via blogs and I would be grateful for advice about the mechanics of how people do this. I.e. add a paypal button, upload pictures, etc. Is each item for a sale a different post?

Which blogs have more visiblity and are easier to do this with -- typepad, wordpress, blogger?

Any advice about this would be much appreciated.
