so I have a couple skirts, you know the type, long a-line that everyone was wearing with twin sets a while back.  The problem is the waist is too small now.  I was thinking cutting off the top of the skirt down to the bottom of the zipper then making a new elastic waist at that point.  Do you think this would work?
