I actually have this dress (my mum bought it for me in about a zillion sizes too big so I can't wear it) and there is one seam. It is straight up the middle between the 'tails' like this;

Sorry about the rough drawing. I was just doing a quicky post and I got a bit carried away. I'm never gonna get anything done today if I stay on this website much longer!

Thanks for this picture starkitty. I love the one in the tute but a circle skirt is not for me! Adds way to much bulk to my shape - I prefer the pencil/tube style. Might have to give it a go if I find cheap stretch fabric for a practice run.

I'm on a 30 day diet.
So far I have managed to lose 15 days.

ok, this comment is way after the last one but...
The circle skirt is just what they used in the pics in the convertible dress tute that rachelily posted. You can make whatever type of skirt you like best for it. I'm about to make one with a 2 piece a-line dress-like skirt myself. If you look at all the pics on the convertible dress thread, you'll see a couple that were made with other types of skirts and they look great.

O M G

This is amazing! I remember hearing about this dress a while ago!!!

I need to thank mento_bug and fromvenuswithlove!

I was going to make a club dress for my best friend, but I couldn't decide on a style... This totally solves the problem!
Yay!

(I'm totally making one for me too!)

Hello.  New here.  It has taken me a while to read this thread, and I am still trying to finish, but I figured maybe some of you might be interested in purchasing an "Infinite/Infinity" Dress.

http://www.graveyardmall.com/twoindrblred.html

I am not sure how authentic the dresses are since the names Infinite and Infinity are used interchangeably.

Maybe one day when I am brave enough I will try to make myself one also.

Very beautiful dresses for all the people that made the dress themselves.  I adore the patterned dresses.

Thank you.
