Hi everyone!  I am a bit of a newbie here - you all have such awesome ideas.  I picked up this book from the library today called A Stitch in Time: Knitting and Crochet Patterns from the 20's, 30's and 40's.  Has anyone here ever heard of it or tried making any of the stuff in it?  If so, how did they turn out??  I have no clue how to knit or crochet  Cry but I am totally inspired now.  I am just "itching"  Tongue to make my boyfriend an authentic woolen one-piece bathing frock  Grin (kidding) - okay, so maybe some things in the book are a bit over the top, but there are some really pretty sweaters in there!  I'll post some pics of some of my crafty things soon to contribute to this swanky site!

Yes, that's it - it was published in the 70's and all the pages are direct copies from vintage instructions.  I guess I was quite lucky to find it, then!
