Victoria

The Peahen's Envy

Creamsicle

My newest obsession!  I think I'll try to sell those I can part with, but most of them I just can't bear to let out of my hands.  Thanks go to niceandlucy, who not only made this post, but who also sent me one of her fascinators for free and thus got me started on my voracious binge.  I have thus sworn to singlehandedly bring these things back into fashion in her honor.

Feel free to suggest names for those without.

My roomate has already promised to be my action shot model.  I would have gotten said shots today, but the camera died on me in the middle of the photo session, and it takes far too long to re-charge.  Thank you, though!  I will try to get some action shots up tomorrow.

Those are gorgeous!
I think that the blue one should be called something along the lines of 'A Mysterious Midnight Rendezvous' or something of the sort.
They're all very pretty.

The blue is my fave, so pretty. Where are you going to wear them? It would be neat to have a shirt or dress that matched them all. Cheesy

Yow! My fave is the 4th one down.

I just finished making a fascinator myself, but I did mine to refurbish an heirloom we had. Mine has peacock feathers too.

You did excellent work! Some people just have a knack for arrangement.

They're quite fun to make

Also, apologies- my roomate has been busy and the weather less than sunny, so I've yet to get the promised action shots.  Soon!

Ok, so I'm going to be silly in asking this-
How exactly do you wear these? They're amazing but I must admit I'm lost.   Huh

Go to the United Pentecostal Church General Conference in Tampa, Florida. It is being held Sep. 26th-30th, 2007. Here: http://www.unitedpentecostal.net/gc2007/.

Set up a booth outside somewhere, or something. You will sell hundreds of these things. Trust me.

This is funny, I actually made my sister one to wear as my moh at my wedding, she was stunning and everyone thought she looked gorgeous.

*you wear them on your head, close to the front, sometimes dipping down to cover a bit of the forehead.
