#DC -- A delivery confirmation number. Its a number you get with your pacakge that will confirm that you actually sent the pacakge...I believe you can choose between that, insurance, and a tracking number. (I'm not familiar with the DC number since i am in canada Smiley) Correct me if i am wrong.

That's correct  Smiley It does cost an extra 50cents, but it prevents flaking.

DC NUMBER NOTE!!!

DC can get REALLY expensive if you're sending out of your country. I tried to send a $10 envelope to Canada, and they were going to charge me $15 extra to confirm. If you do send to another country, there is a different tracking number at the top of the customs form you should write down. Also, scan a copy of your recipit and email that to the organizer, since that is an acceptable alternative.

Yes - If you are sending out of the country, you are NOT required to get a DC number.
thanks for the tips!
