Embroidery is the new crack! It's so me: cheap and portable.

Anyways, here's my first attempt at embroidering. It's an apron that I sewed, and the monkies are on the pockets, looking at each other:

This is EXCELLENT for a first effort! I thought the monkey pattern was a bit advanced - lots of small bits with the curved tail and paws (hands?). Your monkeys look great and the leaves too!

Aw, thanks everyone. I took my time with it. My second attempt, the rocket, is not going as well because I'm trying to rush it.

I had to go with the monkeys, since my husband teasingly tells me that I'm part-monkey.
