Here are a couple sneak peeks at the projects I have done with my SS patterns.

Skully tote back.   MAde this with the help of my "Little Visitor"!!  Grin

A reflection on how I feel about Onions and Mondays.  Stitched on a Martha Stewart Day of the Week kitchen towel (Monday).  Made the set for my Grandma's Mothers Day/Birthday gift.

I'll add more pics as I get them uploaded!   Tell me what you think and I cannot wait to order some more patterns!   Cheesy

These look awesome. I love the Day of the Dead skull and the colors you chose!

I think Mr. Onion (garlic?) is adorable! How many strands did you use for his features? I tried this pattern and used too many strands (all 6) for the features and Mr. Carrot turned out quite odd. I tore out all the stitches and started over with just 2 strands and that worked much better. But then, I was working on a terry bib (!) and that had it's own challenges...

Your sugar skull is rad too! I just noticed the rhinestones! Are they heat set, glued on or metal backed? Wow, I'm nosy tonight!

The rinestones are heat backed swartvotski crystals from Michaels.   However, I used Jewel glue for them because I didnt want to press down the embroidery.

For the onion, I used 4 strands for the outer lines (body, limbs) and 3 strands for the facial features.   Since the skull is on a canvas tote, I used 6 strands for the outer lines and 4 for the details.

Sadly, my photo does not show the nice shade of lime green the tote actually is...

The Martha towels are a dream to work with.   Now I know why so many Craftsters have used them!   Sadly, all I have bought are the days of the week set and the pastel "ice cream scoop" color set.   I had dreams of using the sugar skull and some skeletons on the pastel towels for my aunt's birthdays, but that has tapered off.   I often look in K-MArt to see if they have some plainer towels on the Martha line, but alas, none.   So, I'm now hunting down towels of Martha quality but in solid colors or white.   Any ideas?

Speaking of K-Mart towels....am I the only one who was totally digging the cuts of beef towels they have in their "Essentials" collection?   I mean, come on, carnivore towels!*  How quirky can you get?
