Sorry if this has been posted before, but if you look in the baking aisle at the grocery store, you can find all kinds of super cheap "perfume" in the form of extracts- vanilla, anise, orange, peppermint, all kinds of stuff, and none of 'em over $4, usually.

I just use Vanilla extract in a little spray bottle. Sometimes I mix it up with some Anise (licorice) 'cause my boyfriend likes it. The only thing is I have to put it on before my clothes 'cause the one I like isn't clear.

I've been wanting to try peppermint but I'm afraid I'll smell like foot cream rather than candy. Maybe if I mix it with Vanilla...

Thats a cool idea!  Are you mixing any water in or just straight up?

I just do straight up, but you could water it down if it's too strong for your tastes.

Oh wow, that is an amazingly simple idea!!!  I've always wanted to have a stronger smelling food scented spray, but everything I've got (and can afford) is either watered down with more alcohol than scent or doesn't last for very long.  ><  So thank you-I can now make the vanilla/coconut perfume I've always wanted!  ^_^

awesome! I love the smell of coconut- when I was younger I would put on sunscreen just for the smell of it, haha.

This is funny. I just started using lemon extract for body mist. Smells like a lemon cake Smiley

Orange?!?! I never even thought about orange extract! Some members of my family use vanilla extract from time to time, but I've never thought of orange extract. Next time I'm at the store, I'll check it out, thank you!

Orange and vanilla smell really good together, I'd like to try that!

I decided to experiment, and mixed vanilla and a tiny bit of cinnamon- I smell like a cinnamon bun and my boyfriend looooooves it.
