i made a stack of little papers, then placed a little piece of bookbinders eh..  (some sort of textile with holes in it, we call it 'gaas', don't know the English word) on the back of the stack and glued bookbinders glue over it.

Did you hole punch the paper stack to match the holes in the "gaas"?

no, i just glued it together. like this:

The holes are supersmall, it's like that thin bandage that you can find in the first aid kit. boy, why didn't i pay more attention in English class, heehee

You just put the 'gaas' over the back of the paper stack and then put the glue over it.

This is one delightful little notebook!  I will have to try this one.
According to answers.com, gaas does mean gauze (search also under "scrim").

Really beautiful book! Kind of a funny question, but - where did you get the plastic you used to protect the stamp?

gaas = mull in English.  I found a pic of it here.  Some of Dictionary.com's definitions:  "A soft thin muslin used in dresses and for trimmings", "a soft fine sheer fabric of cotton, silk, or rayon"

I think muslin or another open weave fabric would work, though I have not used mull, myself.
