Okay, so I love the chair with all the burning fiery passion my little heart has.  I never follow patterns.  Never have, never really intended to, but I want to make this slipcover.

Problem is:  I can't get the chair.  I'm about 6+ hours away from an IKEA, so does anyone have suggestions for a similar (and similarly priced) chair?  It's the Oppala if you don't have the mag.  Or has anyone seen one for sale online?  Or have one they want to part with for a reasonable price/shipping?

THe chair w/knitted slipcover for those who have not yet seen it:

I envision it in a more exciting, childproof, yarn color.  Maybe even 2 color cables.  If I can find a reasonable source for similar chairs, I want to design a fair isle-esque thing for another one.

Hey..........I just went to the website to check out your chair, and they have online ordering.

 http://www.ikea-usa.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/IkeaJSPView?storeId=12&catalogId=10101&langId=-1&view=ikny/homeshopping

Hope this helps....

I love this project too - I want to get the chair in the silver-gray finish and then knit a lovely blue cover...  I might go to IKEA at some point soon to check out the chair and will post a report.
