Hi
This is a project I just finished tonight!  I have 2 friends who are pregnant and due soon (one within the next 10 days!) so I have been crankin' away at this afghan! It is super soft, made with Bernat baby coordinates.  It actually worked up fairly quick (you use 2 strands held together).  I am pretty proud of it  Smiley

Let me know what you think!
Gotta go start working on another... Smiley

That's very pretty.  How did you get the perfect transition between colors?...it looks so seamless!

That is soooo pretty! I love it and I'm sure your friend will too. I love that shape of it as well. I bet it would look cool with brights too Smiley The way the colors blend is beautiful!

Thanks everyone!  When you change colors you do a couple of rounds with one strand of the previous color and one strand of the new then move on into 2 strands of the new color.  The whole thing (pattern and yarn) came as a kit so I can't claim the brilliance of picking out the colors!

Where did you pick up the kit?? Was it expensive?? I'd love to make that blanket.

Chimera, I got the kit from a Mary Maxim magazine I get.  It was $35 for the kit.  You can also go to www.marymaxim.com.   Smiley
