 I think you need to do the same as in the tutorial that has been given in this thread but instead of using other beads you tie them together? Is it that?

It doesn't seem like quite the same technique, all of x__monique's beads are covered. If she is willing to share her technique, I'd be interested in seeing it. It's very clever.

It's the same technique, yes, but where it looks as thought x__monique has knotted her fabric after inserting a bead through the tube other people have simply threaded a bead over the tube. : )

That is so great! Especially for summer, you don't want to give up looking cute, but you sure don't feel like roaming around in the hot son with a heavy neckalce on.

I actually have a necklace like that!  My daughter made it in her Kindergarten class - a long time ago.  The teacher was super crafty and they were always doing something.
