I made myself a travel buddy for my trip to South America.  The vendors in Peru quite liked him.

Here he is overlooking Machu Picchu.

I hadn't crocheted in a while before making him, and I spent a few hours undoing the inevidable mistakes of a patternless project.  His ears and front legs are a little wonky, but I'm still fairly pleased.

Is that him in your avatar photo?  If so, he's very cute from the back end!

I also host at photobucket - it is so easy - you just upload and photobucket will give you the link for the picture for you to copy and paste.  There are a bunch of online free photo host services.  I think photobucket is probably up there in the most common ones... although a friend of mine swears that photobucket will drop your pictures for no apparant reason - I haven't heard of anyone else complaining about that though.

I used to use craftster for the ones here but I hated using their cyberspace when they offer so much ... my attempt at making things just a hair cheaper.  Probably doesn't make a drop in the bucket though.

You're just missing the essential soundtrack to listen to while you crochet the next llama:
