There should be a board where we can discuss making clothes that look like a design off the runway, and where we can do the same for celebrity outfits. There is a thread I keep running into about Amy Lee's clothes, so why not put it there? It could just be a child board of clothing. What do you think?

That sounds really cool! I love it when I see runway fashions and then make them for like 200 dollars less then the rich designers want. Oooooh and there could be pictures of like the designer's clothing and then the remake to compare

That is a really good idea and it could also be clothes from films too! I'm always looking through here for ways to make clothes from my favourite films!

that would be awesome since that's what i do alot of. i sew more clothing then anything else. i'm also a costumer so the clothes from films would be awesome too. i'm working on i guess i'd call it a costume inspired by the movie gangs of new york.

This would be a great idea -- sounds like a thread where we are all obsessing over amazing knit stuff in movies, but trying to replicate stuff sounds great!

We totally need this! I am forever copying things out of Vogue and Elle, and I think it's fun to see runway/ourway things.

I just got this book called Couture Sewing Techniques. And it has such awesome tips and tidbits, like one way to spot a Chanel from a fake (there's handsewing on the back of the button hole in a real one!) It gives you lots of ways to make your clothes look professional and expensive! lol, it's pretty good, sounds like something you guys might be interested in.

That sounds cool!!! And it would definitly need the "Original/Expensive-Inspiration" Picture and then the finished product of what the "Craftster" made...Just for comparison...
