I just got a box of fabulous goodies from Faren!  Grin

First I opened the smaller packages, which were wrapped in paper that had quotes from Firefly written on them, and found a glittery pink knitted headband (so very Kaylee), an embroidered checkbook cover with the lyrics to the theme song, and a pendant made in the style of the one Kaylee has in her "Out of Gas" flashback:

(The picture includes the wrapping paper and the card that were in the package)

Here's the inside of the checkbook cover:

Then there was one box left, a large one with something inside well-wrapped in bubble wrap and packing peanuts. What was it? I was trying to figure that out as I unwrapped it, and then broke out into a huge grin when I saw this guy's face:

Yes, I now have my very own Jayne statue!  I think he's so cool!  I am going to a Shindig this weekend and have to take him along and show him off with my other goodies.

Thanks Faren!   Cheesy

I'm soo glad you like him! Specially as he is something I just HAD to make.  Jayne was calling to me!  I actually started working on him before signups ended so I had to ask shylitlegoddess to partner me with someone who wasn't set on one character.  I don't think you mind, do you?  Wink
I might post more pix of Jayne if no one minds....
I was so scared something would happen to him while baking... like he would crumple to dust or something!
Then I had to worry about shipping him! It's enough to give me a complex!

I posted more pix of Jayne in the polymer board, take a look

My boyfriend and I were sitting on the couch when I checked the gallery and I made a little noise and he was like "Why are you making that face?" "What are you looking at?" Being a Firefly/Serenity fan himself he was in total awe of this statue. We were like imagine THAT on top of our TV! I bow down to your clay skillz as I have almost none!

Oh, cool, somehow when the guys says it is cool you really know it is good.  It seems like they save their praise for the totally awesome stuff, so thank him for me!

I got my stuff! There were so many little packages! I love unwrapping presents! See how much wrapping paper there was!

The Buddha paper had this wrapped inside.

Buddha answered my prayer and gave me a pony and a rocket ship! And soap too! Isn't that cool!

Can't wear my Jayne hat in summer, but my purse will wear this Jayne pin all the time!
Then there is a coaster made out of the melted beads(Radegund said she got caught up in the craze) made to look like the movie logo.  Two zipper pulls, so cool.

I love hands of blue...I keep chanting it...they are magnets and in front of them is two chopsticks complete with holder to fit on my belt!  I love the fabric and the dangly beads!

Soooo awesome! hehe  The warning label reads:  Warning: May cause drowsiness, lack of appetite, a desire to lie down, and uncontrollable homicidal cannibalistic urges. Take with food. Also has a blue sun logo on the other side.
No, we aren't done yet!

I love these!  I almost forget to take a pic of them, because they were already in my hair! I would have never thought of these.

Great frame, now what pictures is good enough to put in there?

I really love it all, it is fantastic!
Thanks so much Radegund!

See how much wrapping paper there was!

Just for the record, all the wrapping paper was reused! *having an environmentalist moment here* Except for the Buddha paper, which I did on my color printer.  Smiley

Glad you liked it! This was a good swap.

lol, don't feel bad, I'm going to reuse it too. I just wanted to give everyone an idea of how many packages there were.
