Well, I finished it.

I was asked to make an approximation of the sorceress Cassandra's bikini and belt from the movie "The Scorpion King" for one of my clients, with considerations for weight, and cost....this is what I came up with.

Mostly aluminum in small diamonds connected with 1/8" stainless rings. The centerpiece of the belt is a Kuchi pendant that bellydancers wear, so it fit perfectly! Cheesy

Wow, that's gorgous! But I have question, isn't alumnium very soft? Like wouldn't parts of the costume get smushed because aluminium isn't strong? Please forgive my ignorance.

Some aluminum is soft, but this is one of the harder alloys available. It also is a form of "bright" aluminum, so there's much less oxidation, or ruboff.

Hopefully I'll be getting some good pics of it modelled, since my client has a friend who is a professional photographer. I can't wait! Grin
