I've been lurking around these boards for a few months now, but having just finished my first sweater, Knitty's Tempting II, I feel like popping in and showing off. Grin

Here it is laying flat, looking rather deceptively long:




And here being worn, behaving shorter than it should:




I didn't much fancy the idea of attaching a buckle to the top like in the original pattern, so I decided to attach it to a cable instead, using short rows to shape the angle between cable and band. This was my first time attempting short rows, so it's a bit messy, but it looks alright in this particular photo. XD

Heh, yes, the neck in my version is about half the size as in the pattern -- to make it smaller I just attached the band at the beginning of every WS row as well as the end of every RS row. :3
