The pattern is from this site
Midnight knitter has an awesome website!  So thank You midnight knitter if your on craftster!!!!!

these are both done in 100% wool, this was my first felting experiment.....I wanted to make these as x-mas ornaments by threading a string through the top after felting.
Sooo fun to make at about an hour a piece too!!!

so do you like the felted or non felted version???

So funny; I think I like the felter version better, but it's a tough call.   Smiley

They're both great, but I'm leaning towards the unfelted 'cause I like the ribbed texture---a little more carroty, I think.  Nice work, and thanks for the link; my sister used to have a juice business called 24 Carrot, and even though it's a long gone enterprise, I notice she's still drawn to carrot stuff, so I actually have a good reason to make this!

Also, the basic shape with different colors would make other fun decorative and ornamental pieces....

Groovy! Unfelted for me I think (same reason as waterbaby).

if you could felt the orange carrot part and leave the green stuff for afterward so it looks more tendrilly that would be the best.

Friendship is like peeing on yourself: everyone can see it, but only you get the warm feeling that it brings.

What fun!  They're both great.  My vote is for a collection of both versions.  They are equally good for their own reasons.  Thanks for sharing!

They both look awesome...I've never tried felting before, I'm always been afraid to shrink my projects too much and have them look bad.
