that is soooo pretty!  I may have to go buy that issue and check it out.  Perhaps I can join you on making this.  Do you have any idea of what size needles are needed? and if circulars are needed?  I have a few sets of circulars, but if i have to buy another set  I probably won't make this because i'm pretty low on cash at the moment.

I went and bought the issue.  looks like the pattern requires size 7 and 3 straight needles and sizes 6 and 7  24" circulars.   hmmm....  not sure that i have those.  i'll have to check.

I finished the back.  I checked my gauge and have to use size 9 needles instead of the recommended size 7.  I'm just using some Sugar & Cream cotton yarn in Yellow.  It's pretty cheap. ($1.27 for a 70.9g skein at Hobby Lobby)

Ooh you work fast razberryswrl! Looks like a fast knit Smiley

I've only just cast on and doing the back. I'm using baby wool double yarned in a baby blue . .. I know it's not cotton, but i don't really like to work with cotton :S And i'm asian so yellow sometimes makes me look sicky...

hopefully it will be okay. I'm using 4.5mm needles and double yarning it to get the desired gauge.

Oooh this has been on my list for a while.  I definitely want to get in on this, hopefully start next week!

Edited to add - purchased the yarn today - Reynolds Saucy in Buttercream, hopefully should be ok and will start as soon as I get it.

Klement I almost used that same color!  Cheesy   I'm asian as well and used to be very afraid of wearing yellow, but have constantly been told by others that I can pull it off better than most caucasians.  So I dunno if they were just trying to make me feel better, but either way I'll brave this pale yellow cardigan!

I knit the back quickly during a school break, but now that classes have started again I can't seem to find the time to knit!
