i got home from my dads, and mum forgets to tell me for a whole 20 minutes that......my package had arrived!!! yay!!!! i allmost wet my pants, because a)i never get any mail except from my grandma and b) this is my very first swap!

its a wonderful wall hanging with my new label embroidered onto it and an owl (also part of my label) in browns and golds. will post a pic when i go to dad's, as he has the digital camera...oh well. it is so beautiful. she said it was a sort of "goodluck" thing...lets hope so! Grin (if not, its still really beautiful, and ive allready been superlucky to recieve it!)

cyndiq also sent with it a very cute butterfly "happy first swap!" card...i felt so loved... Grin [and other way cool stuff, but i wont mention them here, as they seem to be a little illegal in this swap! *shhhh* Wink]

i know it wasnt a phone cover cyndiq, but i hope you love it all the same...i did a little wist and blog snooping, so im hoping it payed off...

that wood thing that opens is the bomb. soooo pretty, (the rabbit is soooo cool.) and i would absolutely die for that sunflower thing....and ...and all the other wondiferous tiny things in this very small swap! i want them allllllllll!!!

*phew*   i'm glad you guys (especially Homerof2  Wink) like the sunflower.  It was really fiddly doing the outside green part, but i think the result was worth it.

I love that little kitty pouch, with the wrap-around tail...very clever.

...AND...i just noticed that i missed the necklace with the koi on it..not sure how because it's awesome.  I really really like it.  Smiley

Lethargic let me know that she received what I sent her, so here are the photographs!

Lethargic likes Roy Lichtenstein and said that she would like a coin purse, so I used the print she has as her icon as the basis of my OTT.

Here's a crappy photo of the whole thing.  I had to take it with my camera phone because my camera batteries died the day before I was to mail it.  Boo!  Sad

But here's a scan of the front of it, with the original for comparison:

It's all felt, with lots of cutting!  I know it's under four inches square, but I think that after stitching it all together, it's probably around 3.5 inches square.

Wow - all the tiny thing are so fabulous -

I got home late last night from a trip and my OTT from arnimegirlie was waiting for me.  She made me a tiny goddess pin with teeny tiny stitches.  She based the goddess on Venus of Willendorf - one of my favorite goddess.  It has tiny slightly iridescent stars on the corners and tiny star earrings to go with it.  I am so blessed. I will try to get my act together and post pictures today.

Thank you animegirlie
